If you are a woman whom also happens to be a everyday Witch, we may like to interview you. Click on the cauldron below to fill out the  form.

1)   I understand your from the Uk and are a Wiccan High Priestess. Could you share the idealism of your coven briefly.

I would not use the word idealism, it is best described as a pathway. My Coven consist of 15 dedicated lunar women. We are one with the moon with a  looser structure compared to the states.
We do not conceal or feel ashamed of who we are. We are Witches and our approach is based upon the cycles of the moon.

2)  What is your take between Paganism and your path Wicca?

They are indeed similar and yet different if that makes any sense, lol. Ironically Wicca and Scientology started at the same time, 1950. So you can say we are still a new religion but also a growing one.  We haven't even reached our 100 year mark but we will! Paganism is well known as a very old religion that was around with the Greeks.  Through the times, religions change and new ones developed. Wicca may not be old but it is strong in it's beliefs and many people are becoming more open to it.

3)   What is your procedure of a new coven member?
There is a form they need to fill out. If the form passes, there is a meet and greet with them in a public place. I and one other coven member will go. If all goes well, they are invited to watch a rite. We go through it slowly and explain what and why we are doing things. After the rite they join in for fellowship and we discuss and answer any questions they may have. Then the Coven takes a vote if they would like her to participate in our next rite. If yes, then we invite her to participate in it and everyone gets to feel the energy she brings. The last step is another vote from the Coven for her to join us.

4)   What do you consider one of the most important aspect of your practice?

Unity. If your coven has good unity we can elevate everyone by learning the practice of Wicca.

5) Is there anything you would like to change/incorporate?

I would ban the earlier books of Gerald Gardner. I think he has done more harm than good. The Wicca he practiced is not the same Wicca practice today. So much has changed in the past 65 years. Our thought process is different compared to then. Society was different. The world was different and we are different.

6)  To those new to Wicca what advice would you give them.

First, Wicca is not a sexual religion. Anyone who suggest otherwise, run. lol  Second, do not dedicate to a Deity until your 3rd year. People change as we learn and the knowledge we teach in 3 years is suffice enough to decide on a Deity. Third, Wicca is not a pit stop. If you commit to it, then stay with it. If you are unsure and just seeking, don't commit.

7)  How important is community to you?

I think we should always conduct ourselves with respect towards ourselves and those that cross our path. I never talk about another Coven and take community lightly. We are not required to make friends with someone just because they are Wiccan. We are not obliged to support all Pagan communities. With that being said, We do support two Wiccan communities because it is what we want to do.

8) You said you have a all women Coven. Why did you decide this?
I wanted to provide a safe comfortable environment for women. It is unfortunate that the male and female species always tend to engage in some sort of attraction, favoritism, and more. We are just naturally designed that way. I didn't want to risk any of that especially since stories of dating in covens have led to actually dismantling them.
